This is Mrs. Dawes' third year at St. Mary's as a Montessori Assistant. She obtained her Montessori Early Childhood Education Certification from the National Center for Montessori Education in 2000. She also holds a BBA in Management from West Texas A&M University and is trained in level I of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She loves how St. Mary's provides a Catholic environment in which she can watch and guide children to learn and explore new ideas. She loves being a part of the journey the children take as they embrace new things and grow in relationship with Jesus.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking, playing with her children and traveling. She is married to Nathan, and has three children -- Kaitlin, Victoria, and Hannah. Over the last couple of years, they have acquired quite the zoo of animals to round out their family - 8 fish, 1 Syrian hamster named Peanut, two cats - Dusty and Callie, and a multitude of wild animals that visit their home frequently (racoons, opossums, foxes, cardinals, mississippi kites, squirrels, ect.).
