Molly Barnes

Mrs. Barnes will start her second year as the librarian, STEM teacher, and keyboarding teacher at St. Mary's Cathedral School. This is her 13th year as an educator. Previously, she taught 1st grade and preschool. 

Mrs. Barnes graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She enjoyed instilling the love of reading in students so much that she later received her master's in Library Science.

She enjoys teaching children of all ages and looks forward to another wonderful year of reading, learning, and exploring together!

Mrs. Barnes enjoys reading, riding bikes, and playing pickleball. She and her husband, Tim, have two children - Adlee (8) and Ford (7). She also has one dog (Auggie), a bunny (Junior), and two bearded dragons (Flash & Waffles).
