Hattie Johnson

Hattie Johnson previously taught at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary and Montessori School from 2017-2022. She also taught PreK in Missouri prior to moving to the Amarillo area. In Missouri, she attended the University of Central Missouri where she received her B.S. in Elementary Education.

Mrs. Johnson has experience teaching a range of ages from preschool to K-5th grade art. She has spent most of her teaching career teaching Kindergarten and is very excited to enter the Kindergarten classroom again!


She loves to teach students early literacy skills and be involved with the beginning stages of reading. Recently with this area of interest she has been continuing her education in Communication Disorders at WT. She plans to bring her growing knowledge of language development to her classroom to aid her students in all subject areas. Hattie loves to join students in exploring God’s world and making meaningful academic connections.
