This is Brianna Barreras' 5th year at St. Mary's Cathedral School. She has taught Montessori, first grade and Kindergarten. She has worked in the public school prior to graduating from West Texas A&M in 2018. She has substituted for grades ranging from Pre-k to 6th as well as an after school extended day tutor in public school prior to teaching at St. Mary's.
Brianna received her B.S in Interdisciplinary Studies from West Texas A&M University. She holds a Texas Educator Certification for grades EC-6 from WTAMU. She is trained in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Level I.
One of her favorite things about working at St. Mary's Cathedral School is being able to go to Mass weekly to share the Catholic faith with children, as well as being able to watch children grow and display their faith in their everyday life.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family, going to the lake, crafting, and relaxing. She enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her Shih tzu puppy Oakley.
