Extracurricular

Our students who qualify in Grades 1-5 participate against other private schools in the Private School Interscholastic Association.  This academic competition is made up of several areas -- creative writing, storytelling, math, number sense, poetry, prose, vocabulary, dictionary skills and more.  Students begin preparing several months ahead of time, and SMCS is proud to have many students compete at the state level and place each year!

Do you have a budding ballerina? Tippi Toes is offered to children who are interested in learning more about dance. This is also a program that is offered outside of the school day for an additional charge.  You can read more about Tippi Toes on their website.
 

Our little ones in the Montessori Preschool LOVE Tots Basketball! TOTS comes once per week for preschoolers/Kindergarteners and is offered at an outside fee. You can read more about this program at: Tots Basketball Amarillo
