- When will the 2024-2025 applications be available? Applications for new students open January 30, 2024 after enrollment has opened for currently enrolled students in early January.
- How competitive is SMCS? Admission to SMCS is competitive at various grade levels. We accept an average of 25-30 new Montessori Preschool Students, 8-10 new Kindergarten students, and 4-6 students in 1st through 3rd grades. Because attrition rates are very low in upper grades, spots are limited. We are a parish school so applicants of families who are current parishioners of St. Mary's Cathedral Parish are reviewed first.
- Are there spots still available for the 2024-2025 school year? Some grades are full, and some classes have a limited seats. Please call our front office for more information at 806-376-9112.

Elementary (Kindergarten-Grade 5) $4,950 annually ($495 over 10 months)
Montessori Preschool
3 Full Days (W/Th/F): $5,000 annually ($500 over 10 months)
5 Full Days (M-F): $6,500 ($650 over 10 months) -
Does the school provide tuition assistance? Yes, tuition assistance is offered for students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 on a first-come, first-served basis. Tuition assistance applications are at www.factsmgt.com.

What is the maximum class size? 22 students

At what age is my child eligible to attend? Montessori students must be 3 on or before September 1, Kindergarten age 5 on or before September 1, Grade 1 age 6 on or before September 1.

Do we need to be Catholic to attend? No, we welcome students of all faiths to apply and attend.

Do students attend Mass? Yes, we have an all-school Mass each Friday at 8:15.

What are the school hours? School begins at 7:55 and ends at 3:00 in Montessori and 3:15 in elementary.

Do you have after-school care? Yes, after-school care is available immediately after school is dismissed until 6:00 for an additional fee. There are two groups for after-school care, Montessori and Elementary. Drop-off begins at 7:30 AM and students must arrive no later than 8:00 to be marked on time.

Do students wear a uniform? Yes, students wear an official school uniform in Montessori and Elementary. Uniforms help eliminate distractions from learning. Uniforms can be purchased new or a uniform closet is open year-round for gently used uniform pieces.
