About Us

St. Mary's Cathedral School has been educating children in Amarillo, Texas since 1913.  We currently serve students beginning in the Montessori Preschool through Grade 5 in a safe and nurturing environment.  Our goal is to provide academic excellence and foster Catholic identity, through teaching and learning in Christ with our hearts, souls, and minds--just as our mission states.

Our faculty and staff are dedicated, talented, and highly professional.  We are so blessed that our teaching staff is so committed to the development of the whole child; not only assisting them with academic growth but furthering their ethical and moral development, social interactions, and doing so in partnership with families who are, of course, the primary educators.

Finally, the true center of our school is the community of St. Mary's. Our parents, grandparents, alumni, and entire parish are incredibly supportive and generous with their time and talent.
